Study for all ages is at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday morning. Through Bible Fellowship groups, you can study God's word as you connect with others at similar stages of life. People will encourage you and you can become an encouragement to others. What should I expect when I visit North Highland church? North Highland is a neighborhood church that is committed to reaching all of Columbus for Jesus. That means we are a church as diverse as the neighborhood we live in. Living in a city with Fort Benning as a military base, you are prone to see all races, creeds and cultures in attendance at any given service. We are people of all economic backgrounds and cultures. Rather than let those distinctions divide us we celebrate our differences in Jesus Christ. At North Highland you will find a place to receive encouragement, a family that will accept you with open arms, and a place where you can grow in the Lord. What should I wear? Simply, whatever you like. You will see some people in ties and some in blue jeans. We know God is much more concerned with a person's heart than their clothes. We want you to come as you are and be comfortable. When are the worship services? Our Sunday morning worship and praise service begins at 10:30 a.m. The music is a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary praise, the messages are practical as we present the ageless truths of the Bible in a format that's easy to understand, even if you've never been to church. Sunday evening events consist of a 5:00 p.m. service for our Hispanic community. Praise and worship and the Word of God is ministered in Spanish. (English translation device is available.) Wednesday night services start at 7:00 p.m. We have Family Dinner every Wednesday evening at 5:00 p.m. in Weber Hall. Dinner prices are $5.00 per person or $15.00 per family. Do I need to bring a Bible? No you don't have to bring one if you don't want to; however, if you are accustomed to bringing your bible with you to church this is fine. We do have Bibles in the seats if you need to use one. The scripture is generally projected on the big screen or attenders also. When should I arrive? We suggest arriving 10 minutes before the service if you are bringing children. Be sure to look for our visitor parking spots close to the building when you arrive. Ask one of our greeters if you need directions to the sanctuary or Sunday school rooms. Where are you located? North Highland is located at 7300 Whittlesey Boulevard in Columbus, Georgia.
