A native of Oklahoma, Rev. Dennis Lacy was called into the ministry in 1971. He is a graduate of Central Bible College, Springfield, Missouri. In 1972 he was ordained with the Assemblies of God. Prior to assuming the position of pastor here at North Highland, Pastor Lacy was Lead Pastor 25 years at Calvary Assembly, Dunwoody, Georgia.) Prior to Calvary, he served as Assistant Pastor at Evangel Temple (Columbus, Georgia) for about 12 years. Pastor Lacy has a passion for people, outreach and missions. He serves on the Georgia District Executive Presbytery. He also enjoys conducting leadership training seminars for pastors, deacons and missionaries. He is married to Susan and they have a son, Brad, who is married and in full-time ministry, and a daughter, Susanna.

It is my desire that our Lead Pastor be able to focus on shepherding the congregation, casting vision, preaching and teaching the Word of God. My ministry is taking care of the day-to-day business operations of the church, thus relieving our Pastor from this responsibility. I want to do everything I can to ensure that our Pastoral Team moves forward in the work God has called them to. I am blessed to work closely with my wife, Cheryl, as we labor together in the church we love so much. I also oversee the facilities, making sure everything is in place, and ready for those who attend each service. In addition to those responsibilities, I head up the MAPS ministry, organizing teams to travel overseas to do short-term Missions work. It is priviledge to serve in this capacity.

North Highland's Fine Arts Director, with a Masters Degree in Music Education and an undergraduate in Music and Design. He is on the National Music Committee of the Assemblies of God and has served as the District Music Director for both Georgia and North Carolina. John is passionate about Music. He and his wife, Sue, work faithfully each year putting together the Fine Arts productions for Easter, Liberty Celebration and Christmas. John is now functioning as our Minister of Education. He is currently in his 30th year of full-time ministry.

Gene Forehand serves as Senior Adult Pastor - leading our seniors on Wednesday morning in Bible study, social activities, trips and retreats and many other programs and events. He is also in charge of Outreach Ministries which involves contacting first-time visitors and home and hospital visitations, etc. He coordinates our Missions Conventions and all missions related activities at North Highland. He has served actively and faithfully in leadership at North Highland for over 40 years. He is an ordained minister thru the Assemblies Of God.

Ryan Jordan serves as High School Pastor. He formerly served as High School Pastor of Church In The Son and Masters Commission Director in Orlando, Florida. Licensed under the Assemblies of God and a graduate from Southeastern College. He and his lovely wife, Julie, have 3 beautiful daughters - Macie and Riley and Marly. His primary objective is to affect the culture of this generation of youth while developing leaders utilizing the gospel in it's versatility.

Judd currently serves as Pastor to our Middle School students. He is licensed under the Assemblies of God, a true student of the Word. He has served in many capacities in the church and brings much to the table in the area of ministy. Pastor Judd and his precious wife, Christy, love life, God, their family and the youth. They have a son Oliver, "Oli" for short. Passionate about sharing the love of God, their desire is to strengthen and encourage today's youth . . . challenging them to a closer walk and a deeper relationship with Christ. This will give students what they need in dealing with the many issues they face in life and propel them into their destiny, ready to be used by God.

Chris loves to minister to kids, especially the Highland Kids! She has been a member of NHC and actively involved in children's ministries for over 30 years. Trained in special needs as a sign language interpreter, she utilizes this training along with her many creative talents to educate, inspire and lead our children to a deeper relationship with Christ. Chris has served on full-time staff as Children's Director since 2004.
She oversees all ministries for elementary-aged children. These ministries include: Royal Rangers, Mpact, The Studio, The Farm, Jungle Jam, HKFA (Highland Kids Fine Arts) and Studio 7 Outreach Ministry. She also works faithfully executing the following special ministries throughout the year: Vacation Bible School, Kids Camp, Trunk or Treat and Easter Activities (and other children's outreach ventures as the need or vision arises.)

Rachel is a recent graduate of Southeastern University. She majored in music and plays the violin, piano, and is a phenominal musician, vocalist and worship leader. Her energy and enthusiasm is contagious. She assists us in many areas but primarily serves as Worship Pastor. She leads worship in the Main Auditorium and oversees/leads worship in the REALife and Middle School Auditoriums. She also works with our children’s choir for special musical presentations.
Rachel serves as Administrative Assistant to our Youth and Middle School Pastors of REALife Student Ministries of North Highland. She is available to give violin, piano and voice lessons for those interested.
