The Care Ministry is a tool from the Lord to use in the last great harvest before Christ's return. The mission of the Care Ministry is to equip churches to extend the Kingdom of God by making disciples through the Power of the Spirit and the Love of God.

The threefold purpose of Care Ministry is:

1)  Renew the Ministry of the believer. For too long the church has relied upon the ministry being generated by the pastoral staff or lay leadership. But there's too much suffering and too many needs to limit ministry to staff and leaders. The result is burnout on the part of those doing the ministry, and self-doubt for those watching the ministry. The Care Ministry brings a renewed faith for ordinary believers to do extraordinary exploits for God.

2)  Gather the Harvest of the Church. The visitor is the harvest of the local church. No one becomes a member of your church without first being a visitor.The ministry to visitors, the unsaved, the unchurched, and the uninvolved is the harvest ministry. The Care Ministry is “harvest ministry.”

3)  Revive the Church. By renewing the ministry of the believer and by increasing the harvest of the church, revival takes place. There are several Care Ministry teams at North Highland. Each team primarily serves one Sunday per month.

The teams also meet on a regular basis for prayer, fellowship and planning.
